The Young Social Entrepreneur Camp is perfect for children aged 8 to 12 who are eager to learn about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and social responsibility through fun and immersive activities.
Camp Highlights:
Day 1: Empathy and Social Awareness
- Understand the challenges faced by the homeless through interactive case studies and activities.
- Engage in team-building exercises, including a Terra Mission, Sandcastle Challenge, and a $5 Survival Challenge at the East Coast Park, that teach resourcefulness and teamwork.
Day 2: Exploring Careers and Overcoming Fears
- Experience various jobs at KidZania, where children will build better understanding of what it takes to get a job
- Take on the Mega Adventure Climb and Jump to experience the mental challenges one may face when getting out of comfort zone
Day 3: Social Enterprise and Creativity
- Develop a business plan and create a poster to raise awareness and funding for social causes.
- Present ideas in a creative skit, and get direct feedback from social workers on the feasibility of the plans
Throughout the camp, participants will engage in hands-on activities that foster creativity, communication, and leadership skills, all while making new friends and having fun. With the guidance of experienced trainers, your child will leave the camp with a greater understanding of the world around them and the confidence to make a difference.
